This was a last-minute decision to book Papaw's Cabin - after 12 years of visiting Abilene for work and only staying at HILTON hotel properties I decided to book this sweet little cabin in downtown Abilene! It was WONDERFU...a "5-star rating" and the best part is knowing Papaw's story on how he built this cabin in the 1930's from telephone poles! It is within walking distance to 3 of my favorite places - The Beehive Saloon (AMAZING), Vagabond Pizza (DELISH) and Sweet Thyme Kitchen (WOW, just WOW) - Misty and Mandy are the BEST! They even told me about Papaw's cabin several years ago saying - you should stay here when you are in town! Nathan at B & B Hosting was great too, thanks for being so responsive and timely with all details for our stay! We will be back!
